So what is your goal?
The goal then is to lower your body fat on your entire body. This means lower body fat percentage. Your diet should be aimed at doing little else. If you assume you need to lose weight, you may be right (if you are overweight), but it is not always necessary. Some guys can lose their man boobs without losing any weight at all because they add weight in muscle that is lost in fat.
The point is, get on a diet that burns through fat. Then exercise to burn fat. Everything should be aimed to burn fat and little else. With your focus here, you will be able to succeed and get rid of man boobs for good.
